01 — MLOps & AI Integration

Designing and operationalising machine learning pipelines in enterprise environments. This includes model deployment infrastructure, feature stores, model registries, inference serving, and monitoring of ML systems in production. AI integration advisory covers LLM infrastructure, RAG architecture, and embedding AI capabilities into operational workflows — particularly within manufacturing and energy contexts.

02 — Cloud Architecture (AWS)

Architecture design, assessment, and migration strategy for Amazon Web Services environments. Services include multi-account landing zone design, VPC architecture, EKS cluster design, cost optimisation (NAT Gateway, data transfer, compute), security posture review, and Well-Architected Framework assessments. Particular expertise in large-scale EKS workloads and observability-instrumented AWS infrastructure.

03 — Private Cloud Architecture

Design and implementation of on-premises and hybrid private cloud environments. This covers platform selection, Rancher-based Kubernetes cluster management, RBAC and multi-tenancy design, storage architecture, and integration with public cloud providers for hybrid workloads. Ideal for organisations in regulated industries or those with data residency requirements.

04 — GitOps & CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

Establishing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Flux, and Terraform to create fully declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. Engagements cover pipeline design, secret management, environment promotion strategies, drift detection, and integration with existing source control systems. The objective is a delivery process that is auditable, repeatable, and resilient.

05 — Kubernetes & Container Orchestration

End-to-end Kubernetes advisory covering cluster architecture, workload design, resource management, autoscaling (HPA, KEDA, Cluster Autoscaler), networking (CNI, ingress, service mesh), and security hardening. Experience spans EKS on AWS and Rancher-managed clusters, with a track record of optimising large-scale deployments including resolution of memory over-allocation, inefficient scheduling, and horizontal scaling inefficiencies.

06 — High Availability & Scaling Architecture

Designing systems that maintain continuity under load, failure, and growth. This service covers Multi-AZ and Single-AZ architecture tradeoffs, stateful workload resilience, database HA patterns, load balancing, failover strategy, and capacity planning. Particular focus on cost-performance optimisation — ensuring that HA investments are architecturally justified and operationally sustainable.

07 — Cloud Native Computing

Advisory on adopting and operationalising the CNCF ecosystem — including service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), event-driven architecture, serverless patterns, OpenTelemetry, and containerised workload design. Suited to organisations transitioning from legacy monolithic architectures toward microservices-based, cloud native operating models.

08 — Observability & Site Reliability Engineering

Designing and implementing enterprise observability platforms with a focus on Grafana OSS (Loki, Mimir, Tempo), OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Alloy. Services include observability strategy, telemetry pipeline architecture, SLO/SLA definition, alerting design, and incident response process improvement. Built on direct experience operating a 300+ user internal observability platform at enterprise scale.
